After a slow and steady tournament, we made a final table. Top four were Danny W, Zane L, Mok H and Matt S.
The first two to battle it out were Danny and Matt. In the red corner was Matt with A-8-9-K, and in the blue corner was Danny with A-J-10-K. Danny raised pre-flop, Matt shoved, Danny called.
Board was 8-6-9-4-5 and Matt's 2-pair took the win.
Next to take a stab at it, was Zane. Having lost a few decent pots previously, he was bottom stack and shoved all-in pre-flop with 6-J-K-Q. Matt called with Q-3-A-3. The board showed 7-5-10-9-7 and Matt's 3's were enough to take out another opponent.
Last two in the ring were Matt and Mok. There was a bit of back-and-forth for a while, but a few heavy blows by Mok saw Matt's pile getting smaller. Matt eventually shoved pre-flop with 6-5-6-10, Mok with Q-10-4-7. Board was Q-K-3-3-8 and Mok's 2-pair knocked-out Matt and he took the victory.
